Search all of our local historical databases at once including the obituary and cemetery indexes, Lois Barland's research notes, local history sources, marriage records, WI biographies, and the 1910 census.  To use, conduct a search and then click on each tab to view any records found. 

Barron County Historical Search
An index to birth, death and marriage notices found in the Rice Lake Chronotype, the Barron Newshield and the Cumberland Advocate from approximately 1900 to 1950. (There may also be more current entries and some from the Chetek Alert.) This has been an project undertaken by volunteers and may not be complete or without error. Please feel free to comment or submit corrections.

The Eau Claire Obituary and Cemetery Indexes, a part of the Eau Claire Historical Search, are maintained by the Genealogical Research Society of Eau Claire (GRSEC). These are volunteer projects undertaken by members of the GRSEC and may not be complete or without error.
