In a Roundabout Way
Virtually Hanging Now ➜ Aug. 27
Each year, the library invites artists to create a work of art to be included in a themed summer exhibit. This year’s summer show, In a Roundabout Way, features works from over 20 talented individuals.
With the library’s major renovation and expansion project underway, it has moved its materials and services to a temporary location at 2725 Mall Drive, Eau Claire. With no display space at this site, In a Roundabout Way will be held as a virtual exhibit.

Virtual Art Shows
Because of COVID-19, all in-person library programs and events, including art exhibits, had to be canceled. But we wanted to continue to showcase great regional art, so our shows have gone virtual! You’ll be able to view artwork from the safety and comfort of your own home.
A Year Not Soon Forgotten
Virtual Exhibit by Denise Presnell | The show will feature 30 cold wax paintings that chronicle Denise Presnell’s artistic journey from March 2020 through May 2021—or during the COVID-19 pandemic. The show will run from September 7 through December 1. Presnell’s work has been exhibited in over one hundred solo, group, and competitive exhibitions across the United States, as well as exhibitions in Tokyo, Botswana, Kenya, and Shanghai.
