The Dabble Box makerspace is a “do-it-yourself” multi-purpose programming space where customers of all ages can explore technology, arts, and crafts. Develop new technology skills, gain confidence, and discover new talents and career opportunities.

The library has partnered with North High School to make these professional quality kits available to the public at no cost.

• Customers must be at least 18 and have a library card to check out a kit. Borrowers may supervise equipment use by younger customers.
• Kits may only be used in-library Mondays (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and Tuesdays through Thursdays (10 a.m. to 8 p.m.), dependent on availability.
• Only one kit may be checked out at a time.

  • Does it cost anything to use the Dabble Box?
    Nope! Just like all library services, the Dabble Box is free and available to the public.
  • When can I use the Dabble Box?
    In addition to special workshops and programs, monthly open lab times are scheduled for all ages. Check out the current Dabble Box schedule.
  • Do I need to bring my own supplies?
    Supplies and materials are available for use in the Dabble Box. However, we ask that you only use what you need. Supplies may be limited, so please check with library staff if you have a larger project (such as making holiday gifts for several people) in mind. You are also welcome to bring your own materials to use with our equipment. 
  • Is the Dabble Box open to all ages?
    Yes! We offer open lab time and age-specific programs for school-age kids, families, teens and adults.
