Desk Clerk (Circulation Services)
Do you love helping people and connecting them with the resources they need? The L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library is currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Desk Clerk who has a passion for public service to work at the Library’s front desk. As a Desk Clerk, you will assist customers by checking materials in and out, processing library card applications, and transferring library materials between customers and shelves and SO MUCH MORE. The L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library is looking for candidates that will work independently with minimal direction, follow procedures, prioritize and multi-task, be a reliable team player with a strong commitment to customer service, and work in a fast-paced environment.
The available position averages 28 hours per week including a variety of daytime and evening shifts and every other Saturday. The starting wage is $14.84/hour and includes pro-rated holiday, vacation, and sick leave. In this position, you will also be eligible for and will participate in the Wisconsin Retirement System benefit.

Assistant (Reference Services)
The L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, seeks a friendly, organized, tech-savvy team member who enjoys helping customers of all ages and abilities with their information needs.
As a Reference Services Assistant, you’ll help customers at the reference desk, through research and readers advisory, hold assistance, provide computer and equipment support, and so much more.
This is a part-time position, averaging 28 hours per week. The proposed schedule includes a variety of daytime and evening shifts and every other weekend. The starting wage is $18.18 per hour. Benefits include pro-rated holiday, vacation, and sick leave. In this position, you will also be eligible for and will participate in the Wisconsin Retirement System benefit.
