The Friends of the Library Book Sales rely on generous donations for both in-person and online sales. Please make sure that all donations are in good/sellable condition. For questions regarding book donations please contact us at 715-831-5301 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Donations are being accepted by the Friends of the Library Monday – Friday from 9 am – 12 Noon. A donation bin will be placed outside of our temporary location (2615 Mall Dr. – the former Pawn America building) during these hours.
Donations will also be accepted at the Friends Pop Up Book Sales on the second Saturday of each month. Pop Up Book Sales are weather permitting and are currently scheduled for the months of July, August, September, and October. Please check our website or Facebook page if the weather looks questionable. Our next scheduled Pop Up Book Sale will be Saturday, July 10th from 10 am to 3 pm.
We do not accept:
Torn, dirty, moldy, smelly, or water-damaged books
Books with missing covers, pages falling out or chewed corners
Scratched discs or items with missing parts
Reader’s Digest condensed books
Computer books older than 2015
VHS or cassette tapes
Magazines (including National Geographic)
Vinyl records – Revival Records might take these
CDs – BAM or Revival Records might take these
Children’s and Young Adult books, puzzles, games
Audiobooks on CD
DVD or Blu-ray videos
Book Sale Volunteer Opportunities
Each year nearly 100 volunteers donate almost 1,500 hours of their time to help make the book sales successful. There are many ways to help, online and onsite – there is something for everyone!
Volunteers are needed on a weekly basis as well as for specific sales. Flexible time commitment!
