| Notes | 20 July 1924 20 July 1924, John Wasikof Weyerhauser died last Sunday morning at the Ladysmith hospital from injuries received Friday evening from a auto accident. Wasik, in company of three other young men and a young lady were on the way to a dance at Island Lake when something went wrong and the car turned a complete somersault, the hub cap striking young Wasik in the face as he was thrown from the car. He was terribly injured by the blow, his face being practically torn off. He was taken to the hospital when he lived til Sunday morning. The other members of the party were bruised and shaken up but none of the injuries will prove fatal. |
