THE EXHIBIT

Each year, selected artists are invited to submit a work of art to be included in a themed summer exhibit. This year’s show, “It’s All Symbolic,” features works from 39 talented artists. Symbolism is the idea that objects, actions, and images can stand for something far greater than themselves—serving as bridges to abstract concepts, emotions, or ideas. The term symbolic may also be used to simply describe things involving or relating to actual symbols.

Artist Reception: Thursday, June 12, 6 to 7 p.m., Art Gallery (Level 3)
