Summer 2022: DB & The Jam

The library’s Dabble Box makerspace is teaming up with The Jam to make some music this summer. Join staff from both organizations to experiment with ways to create music, try new instruments, and receive some basic music instruction in the great outdoors. Come to play or just listen. All ages are welcome. No registration is required for these drop-in events.

Create Your Own Sound Loop

Thursday, June 9 | 5 to 7 p.m. | Library Patio (map)
Michael Rambo and teens from The Jam will set up instruments and equipment for some hands-on sound looping. Drop by for an introductory lesson. All experience levels welcome!

Instrument Petting Zoo

Thursday, June 23 | 4 to 5:30 p.m. | Library Patio (map)
Theremini, ukulele, kalimba, Boomwhackers, and more will be available for hands-on music making.

Ukuleles in the Labyrinth

Friday, July 8 | 6:30 to 8 p.m. | Labyrinth in Phoenix Park (map)
This beginner-friendly session will teach some basics. More advanced players are welcome to bring their own instruments and join in the fun! Ukuleles will be provided.
