Our Mission:

The library promotes lifelong learning, creates collaborative spaces, and supports open access to diverse materials and resources to enhance the quality of life in the community.

In 2015, the Library, in collaboration with Wisconsin Library Services (WiLS), launched a strategic planning process by conducting online and mail surveys, focus groups, and personal interviews.  In June of 2016, the Library Board adopted a strategic plan for the Library for 2016-2021. The plan presents a new mission statement, revised core strategies, values, and an organizational brand.  Library staff has formulated a work plan with initiatives designed to guide and support fulfillment of the service goals. Regular review and modification of the work plan will further ensure the library’s ability to successfully implement the strategic plan.
