“Floyd 50 Tribute is a tribute to the iconic Pink Floyd album cover from Dark Side of the Moon. I feel that this piece fits the theme of the summer exhibit “It’s all Symbolic” because of the cultural impact this album, Dark Side of the Moon influenced popular music of the time and going forward. As people view this piece I hope they will remember the importance of the past and where they have come from and what they have learned as well as a preview of the future and where they are going.”
