Along Cottonwood Trail
Third Prize
Gerlyn Brasic
wool felting
“Along Cottonwood Trail was inspired by many walks on the La Crosse marsh Cottonwood Trail where every summer, one can routinely watch herons and egrets fishing, turtles sunning, and swan families gliding across the water. This piece was created using wet and dry needle felting techniques with wool roving, yarn, recycled sweaters, and other fibers.”
