Rumbling in ¾ Time
“I am always searching for intriguing structures from unique perspectives. When monumental architectural or mechanical components are cropped, the viewer sees only the essence of the subject in a more intimate format.
In this case, I was standing near railroad tracks feeling the rumble of the train as it passed me by. Digits on the overhead electronic structure seemed reminiscent of a time signature on a piece of music. The muted palette was inspired by the work of Russian Constructivist El Lissitzky.”
