“I began making photographs years ago using film while attending University of Wisconsin-Stout as a Graphic Arts Management student. I processed my own film and made prints in a wet darkroom. I currently shoot digital and print my own giclee prints using archival methods.
Photographing or processing images in black and white has the strongest appeal to me these days. I believe in many cases it allows the viewer to get the most out of an image without the distraction of color.
Through photography I attempt get the most interesting or thought-provoking visual content from the world around me. I try to keep the process and images simple and minimal.”
