“As a craftsperson most of my work is defined by straight lines. We seem to be obsessed with perfect straight lines everywhere. The lines of a building inside and outside need to be level, true, plumb, even. Nature doesn’t follow these ideas. This piece of work is an exploration into more organic surfaces and shapes in wood.”
