“This art explores the exaggerated character of locations in the sculptured form. Using re-purposed materials such as layered cardboard bonded with papier-mache enables lightweight yet impactful dimensionality. A closer look reveals the details of textures created using layered brushstrokes that enhance the aesthetic of the hand-crafted process. These locations may conjure nostalgia while paying tribute to the places we have lived, played, worked, or entertained.”
