Volunteering at the Library

We appreciate the public’s help in working with and volunteering for the following organizations:  Friends of the Library, Home Delivery Service, Literacy Volunteers of America, Community Action and Lifelong Learning, Volunteer Opportunities Guide for Eau Claire County.

Friends of the Library

The library has many volunteer opportunities available.  Friends of the Library coordinates library volunteers and sponsers other activities such as our books sales. Learn more…

Home Delivery Service

Home Delivery volunteers deliver library materials to customers whose health or other circumstances make it too difficult for them to come to the library themselves. Volunteers are an essential part of the Home Delivery program. They should:

  • Be available to deliver library materials once every three weeks.
  • Have their own transportation and be a licensed and insured driver.
  • Be willing to make a commitment of at least one year to the service.

To learn more about volunteering, contact our Home Delivery Services Coordinator at 715-839-4857 or
