Gotzian Shoe factory built & running at full capacity. Transmission lines between EC & Menomonie finished. Northwestern Steel & Iron built. Refrigerator factory improved.
1907-12-17 Lumbering Muscatine Co. will cut 30,000,000'. Have four camps. Will employ two hundred fifty hands.

1907-08-20 Mills Highest water in 18 years takes out Otter Creek dam 1 1/2 miles up from EC River. Belonged to otter Creek Milling Co., built a year ago. Creek rose 4' in 3/4 hours. Dam to be rebuilt.
