Summer Take and Make Activities
Youth (Toddler-Teen) | June 1–July 31, 2021
Keep on exploring this summer with take and make activity bags! Different activities will be available each session.
Session 1: June 1–June 19
Session 2: June 21–July 10
Session 3: July 12–July 31
Activity bag requests are limited to two activities per child/teen per session with no duplication of activities. Quantities are limited and available only while supplies last. Registration is required, beginning on the first day of each session.
Session 2 Activities
Texture Painting – Use sponges, feathers, and other materials to create an artistic masterpiece. Recommended for Toddlers-Kindergarteners.
Window Garden – Plant a bean and watch it grow. Recommended for Toddlers-Kindergarteners.
Disguise Kit – Assemble your top secret undercover agent disguise. Recommended for school-age children.
Story Scroll – Stories were written on scrolls before books. Create your own scroll story! Recommended for school-age children.
Mini Book Rose Terrarium – Celebrate the library with a mini book flower terrarium. Reserved for teens in grades 6-12.
Curiosi-Tea – Explore the world of boba/bubble tea with this simple take-home kit. Reserved for teens in grades 6-12.
