Die Cut Resources at the Library

Die Cut Resources at the Library

Welcome to the Resource Room

The library’s Resource Room (Room 110) houses our die cut machine and a collection of over 500 die cuts. This room is available to use anytime the library is open, you just need to bring your own paper. Please stop at the Youth Services Desk (Level 1) to reserve a time to use the room—walk-in reservations are welcome!

Notes: You will need to sign a short agreement each time you use the Resource Room and its die cut equipment. Any damage to the machine or die cuts will be your responsibility. Replacement prices for die cuts vary and range from $30 to over $100 per die.

What’s a Die Cut Machine?

A Die Cut Machine is a tool you can use to cut shapes using the library’s die cut collection. You can cut one shape at a time, or can cut through several thicknesses of paper depending on the weight of the paper. This means that you can cut out letters and shapes for bulletin boards, displays, craft projects, and more much quicker than you could with ordinary scissors.
