Summer Take and Make Activities
Youth (Toddler-Teen) | June 1–July 31, 2021
Keep on exploring this summer with take and make activity bags! Different activities will be available each session.
Session 1: June 1–June 19
Session 2: June 21–July 10
Session 3: July 12–July 31
Activity bag requests are limited to two activities per child/teen per session with no duplication of activities. Quantities are limited and available only while supplies last. Registration is required, beginning on the first day of each session.
Session 3 Activities
Water Bead Play – Enjoy a fine motor experience, and learn through play, with these safe, non-toxic water beads. Recommended for Toddlers-Kindergarteners. (One per family.)
Weave-away – Get creative with various materials to create a woven masterpiece. Recommended for Toddlers-Kindergarteners.
Bird Journal – Craft a bird journal to take on a nature hike. Recommended for school-age children.
Marshmallow Engineering – Solve engineering challenges using only marshmallows and toothpicks. Recommended for school-age children.
Stitched Friendship Bracelet – Create a stitched plastic canvas friendship bracelet to wear or give away. Reserved for teens in grades 6-12.
Eco Phone Stand – Reduce-Reuse-Recycle: Turn a vintage cassette case into a handy phone stand! Reserved for teens in grades 6-12.
