Youth Summer Library Program 2020

It’s finally here! Youth (ages 0-18) can sign up to track their reading and earn a prize.

Be sure to also check out the current Youth Services event flyer to find out about fun, family friendly programming happening all summer. 

Youth Reading Program

Youth ages 0 to 18 can earn a prize this summer by joining the Summer Library Program. It’s as easy as 1–2–3!
1. Sign up anytime, June 15–August 15.
2. Read (or be read to) and complete activities.
3. Complete your reading goal and activities by August 15.

How to Sign Up & Track Your Reading

Choose the option that works best for you!

To get started with Beanstack, choose which option(s) works best for you and your family:

  • Visit Beanstack in your web browser 
  • Download the Beanstack Tracker App for iOS
  • Download the Beanstack Tracker App on Android

In your web browser:

  1. Register for an account or sign in to your existing account
  2. Fill out reader profiles for participating family members including age and grade/school (if applicable)
  3. Register participating readers for our Summer Challenge
  4. Log your reading and activities online, as they’re completed
  5. Earn a FANTASTIC prize

In the Beanstack Tracker app:

  1. Search for LE Phillips Memorial Public Library or Eau Claire Public Library
  2. Sign up for an account or log in to your existing account
  3. Fill out reader profiles for participating family members, including age and grade/school (if applicable)
  4. Register participating readers for our Summer Challenge
  5. Log your reading and activities online, as they’re completed
  6. Earn a FANTASTIC prize

Schedule a time to pick up your reading record(s) at the library. Time slots are available Monday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through the library’s Pickup Service. To schedule, contact Youth Services via email or phone at 715-839-5007. Staff will need to know the number of participants birth-5th grade and 6th-12th grade.
