Tween Virtual Book Club

The year is 1912 and you are aboard the Titanic. The ship has just hit an iceberg. Will you go to the cabins or stay on deck? Will you try to find your family or will you get into a lifeboat? Will you head to the boiler rooms or the kennel?

YOU CHOOSE the story at our first virtual book club meeting for kids in grades 3-5 on Thursday, September 17, 2020.

ECASD's school supply drive

ECASD’s Adopt-A-Backpack

The Eau Claire Area School District’s Adopt-A-Backpack program plays an important role in getting school supplies and backpacks to students in need each year. Though this school year will be quite different, the urgency remains to help deliver supplies to Eau Claire families in need.

To assist the Adopt-A-Backpack program, the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library will be collecting school supply donations inside the library’s main entrance through mid-September. You may drop off supplies Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. No appointment necessary. To help guide your donation, please see ECASD’s school supply lists: https://www.ecasd.us/District/About/2020-2021-Back-to-School

Thank you!

Dice Game

I love to write and illustrate my own stories, but am occasionally stuck for inspiration. This silly dice game is a fun way to spark your creativity! All you need to grab is one die, and writing or drawing tools.
