Spark Your Curiosity at Preschool STEM!

Adult and child playing with Dash and Dot robots.

It’s Friday morning at the library. Robots are whizzing around the Youth Program room, scarves are flying through a wind tunnel, and one young scientist is dripping water through mounds of tie-dyed shaving cream. As I stand taking in the excitement, I hear one young scientist proudly proclaim:

“Dad! Look at…The Science!”

This fall, we are spending the first Friday of the month exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) during our Preschool STEM program. STEM activities spark curiosity, and encourage children to make observations and predictions, ask questions, and experiment. Each monthly session offers different hands-on activities for kids and caregivers to explore together.

We hope that you’ll join us at our next Preschool STEM on Friday, December 6, 2024, 10-11 am in the Youth Program Room! Until then, stay curious!
