“Much of my recent work has been a response to the forest that surrounds my workshop and studio. Wall constructions on wood attempt to play with viewer perception – painting in dimensional illusion and assembling wood pieces that break the rectangle of traditional painting. These pieces try to capture something of the play of light through the woods in different seasons, at varying times of day and under different weather conditions. Thanks for looking.”
