Call for Artists

The library is seeking submissions of recent work from visual artists for exhibition in the 2027 calendar year and beyond.

All submissions will be evaluated by members of the library’s Visual Arts Committee, which is comprised of artists, art professionals and art enthusiasts from the area. Artists will be notified by email if the proposal is accepted.

To submit work for consideration, send the following:

• Ten to twenty high-definition digital images representing recent work. File names for image files should be in the form lastname_image title. Abbreviate as needed to keep file name to a reasonable, understandable length.
• A corresponding text file listing images by number or title and including the size and materials.
• An artist statement, including a biographical sketch. This must include the artist’s email address.
