“My granddaughter Nora was in Maine and standing on a large rock looking at the misty landscape. I thought of Christina’s World by Andrew Wyeth. Being 14 years old, Nora needs to navigate a more complex world. The starkness of Christina’s World in contrast to the complicated landscape in Nora’s World is purposeful.”
