The Exhibit

Sue Carey, Dan Ingersoll, Maureen Skroski, and Janice Roberts are retired Eau Claire public school art teachers who always saw themselves as both educators and practicing artists, challenging the notion that teaching and doing are separate pursuits. In retirement, they have embraced a “second act,” using newfound time and space to deepen their artistic practice through studio work, classes, workshops, and connections with other artists. This exhibit reflects their continued growth as artists and educators and invites the community to share in that lifelong commitment to learning and creativity.
