The Tall Ships Duluth 2016 event, to be held in just a week from August 18-21, will see nine sailing ships that are replicas of those that took to the waters from the 16th to 19th centuries, sail into Duluth, Minnesota’s harbor for all to marvel at. If it’s as popular as years past, it may draw the attention of close to 250,000 attendees. Tall Ships visitors can stand on the shore and catch a glimpse of the ships throughout Duluth’s harbor, step aboard the ships for a tour, or even climb aboard one of the ships as it sails about the waters of Lake Superior. It will be truly something to behold!
